As a co-founder of Parapet Group, and currently its chairperson. Together with the other Directors, she plans, designs, and coordinates the overall strategic direction of the Company, approves and signs off budgets, and guides the implementation of best practice procedures within functions. She ensures proper utilization of human resources against organizational goals in order to enhance the effectiveness and profitability of the company. She has been instrumental in organizational design, and change management.
She holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a law degree from the University of Nairobi. She has been an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for over 20 years, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Certified Public Secretary. Constance has excellent management experience having served as a Director sitting on the Board of a few multinational and local companies.
As a co-founder of Parapet Group and a past Chairman who has served Parapet successfully for 25 years since its inception, is currently overseeing the management and administration of Parapet Limited, and has over 35 years of experience in the cleaning industry and has served as a consultant in this field for many years.
David Kiengo was trained at S.C Johnson International in the UK on effective cleaning materials and the use of allied equipment. With this extensive knowledge, he has been actively involved in recommending cleaning products suitable for the Kenya market and developing the cleaning industry as a whole. The result is that products are now being produced locally and to international standards since 1979.
As a co-founder of Parapet Group, and as a Consultant, He coordinates most of the large jobs undertaken by the company and advises on developments in commercial and residential property management where cleaning plays a major role.
With a degree in land economics from the University of Nairobi since 1973, Mr. Mugo is a registered and practicing valuer and a full member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya. He is also a registered Estate Agent. He has over 33 years of experience working as a valuer, property, and estate management working in both the private and public sector.
Tom Onyango is a founder member of Parapet Group and along with the entire Board of Directors, he contributes to overseeing the alignment of the Company’s mission, vision, core values and planning for a successful facial years.
As an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 30 years of experience, he ensures that all provisions of contracts with third parties are interpreted and adhered to in their performance.
Claire is the current chair of the Human Resource and Governance Committee of the Board which provides oversight on compliance with statutory provisions, company policy and staff welfare. She coordinates the implementation of sound staff management practices and development systems including upgrading of procedures to ensure proper utilization of human resources in order to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of the business.
Claire brings a vast experience in Integrated Facilities Management, as a real estate enthusiast with a passion for the built environment, and experience in construction project management & monitoring, development management, market and feasibility studies as well as facilities management.
Holding qualifications in building engineering & associated studies, she has worked in myriad of projects in the Kenyan & American markets. Major achievements include leading project teams in the successful implementation of over 1,500 middle-market housing units & establishment of diplomatic housing developments in Kenya & the region.
Dominic joined Parapet in the year 2017 in the position of Group Head of Human Resource and Shared Services before being appointed to the Board as an executive Director in 2021.
He possesses a wealth of experience in Human Resources, Operations, and General Management gained progressively over a period spanning more than 30 years straddling a diversity of industries including floriculture, security and manufacturing.
Dominic’s areas of expertise include strategic leadership, operational excellence, organizational transformation and design, managing for diversity and leading multicultural teams, business process outsourcing and performance/reward management.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Human Resource Management (FIHRM) and holds a Masters’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) - Human Resources and Strategic Management from Moi University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Government from the University of Nairobi.
As a co-founder of Parapet Group, and currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer for both Kenya and Uganda has an extensive experience in Integrated Facilities Management. Alex Nyaga is trained in the hospitality sector and entrepreneurship and holds a Degree in Hotel Management from the prestigious Ecole Les Roches Switzerland, as well as an Associate of Science Degree in Food and Beverage management from the New England Association of Hotel Management Schools, U.S.A.
He has extensive international work experience at the Hotel Ambassador and Hotel City in Berne, Switzerland both exclusive 5-star establishments, the Hotel Erlibacherhof in Zurich and the Hotel & Restaurant Tre Cucine, Zurich to mention but a few. He is a member of the leading International Sanitary Services Association (ISSA) an international organization with its headquarters based in the U.S. His passion for mentorship and environmental conservation is evident in the number of awards that have been bestowed upon him.
